About this site

This site runs on a piece of software called Blot. Blot uses Texticl for markup: texticl is a text transformation library that accepts input which looks a lot like an approximate subset of Textile , and Araneida to deal with HTTP. All of this is written in Common Lisp.

The CL implementation used is SBCL , and the underlying machine is a UML virtual instance running on servers at Bytemark

This is Daniel Barlow's personal blog thing, now in its fifth regeneration. Most of what you will find here is inline skating, cycling and matters arising.
