This is a short and non-entertaining blog entry to note that
- yesterday was the LFNS, which comprised 9 miles (guessing) of music bike pedalling (to start point, first half of skate, and back from finish point to storage location) and 6 miles of skating (second half of skate)
- the bike is hard work (it weighs probably as much as I do, so doesn't like acceleration or uphills) but also good fun. Gradually getting out of the habit of pulling on the handlebars (on a recumbent with USS, it doesn't make much difference ;-)
- I spent some of the second half pushing the bike as well. This is quite weird: you can't feel a lot of force through your arms, but you definitely notice the difference in the legs. Bigger toe-out angles at setdown, just like uphills.
